About Flaxvale

Flaxvale exists for a simple reason: beautiful things for the home — real symbols of warmth and comfort — should be within reach for everyone. Every piece we sell is handmade, and our aim is to bring a little of that care into your everyday life.

Made by hand

Each piece is handmade by Olivia, with care for the smallest detail. Quilting, stitching, finishing — all of it done by hand, from carefully chosen materials. Because items are individually made, small variations in colour, texture and finish are normal. That is the character of a handmade piece, not a fault.

A farewell

After 20 wonderful years, Olivia is retiring and closing Flaxvale. Her handmade treasures are now looking for their final homes, at up to 70% off.

Shopping with us

• Free shipping on every order, anywhere in New Zealand, with no minimum spend. Rural addresses included.
• 30 days to return any unused item in its original condition for a full refund.
• Faulty or not as described? That is covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and we cover return shipping too.
• GST is collected at checkout, so there is nothing further to pay on delivery.
